  • What is Radbutter Health

!IMPORTANT!--This case study was created for my portfolio purposes only. This website does not fully reflect what we achieve with Radbutter Health nor is it accurate. Please visit our website or contact us to learn more!--!IMPORTANT!

  • Objective

The RadButter platform aims to create minimal clicks to find facilities, get a script, discover pricing, and get the earliest available appointments for radiology services. We provide multiple ways to help you avoid racking up high medical bills. If you drive to a hospital, you will not be given access to prices, you might spend exorbitant amounts of time in waiting rooms and attain a generally malcontent disposition. We seek to remove the complexities and headaches associated with the current healthcare model by democratizing information and streamlining the patient journey.

    Research Plan

    Problem
    • Whether intentional or not, the healthcare industry is set up, so patients are set up with an ID wristband and escorted through a variety of services without proper education. No menu or brochure provides an understanding of what this entails. The moment a patient steps foot in a medical facility, they are often treated as if they are at an open bar, except they are paying the tab and figure they must comply with all recommendations for fear of a fatal result. In reality, this is only the case in very acute conditions, and the rest of the patient population with non-fatal complications can plan and research their care but are not respected to have that capacity. 66% of all bankruptcies filed in the U.S. last year were medical-related, but maybe there is a way to provide a tool that can bring this number down to startling low rates.
